Sales intelligence is broken. Reps spend 2+ hours per prospect copy-pasting from Google, LinkedIn, and annual reports — and still walk into meetings unprepared. We built Recon to fix it.
Born from a stack of browser tabs.
The problem we lived
Recon started the way most useful tools do — with a job that hurt. Preparing for one serious sales conversation meant a dozen tabs: filings, LinkedIn, news, job boards, procurement portals, a half-finished doc gluing it together. Four to eight hours later you had a brief that was already going stale — and next quarter, someone rebuilt it from scratch.
The bet we made
The data was never the problem — it's all public. The problem was the thinking: reading 86 sources, weighing what's trustworthy, connecting a 10-K risk factor to a hiring spike to a new CFO's mandate. So we built an engine that does the thinking — and shows its work on every single claim.
What's under the hood.
Six rules we don't break.
Sourced or it doesn't ship
Every claim carries the source that produced it, a trust weight, and a timestamp. If the engine can't attribute it, the engine doesn't say it.
Adversarial by design
Independent critic agents try to knock down every finding before you see it. Disagreements go to a judge panel — not to your inbox.
Depth over breadth
We'd rather make you dangerous on 30 accounts than mediocre on 30,000. Contact volume is someone else's business.
Your voice, not ours
Recon ships blank. Your practices, case studies, and competitors define every output — the product disappears behind your brand.
Research, not refresh cycles
Intelligence is compiled when you ask, weighted toward the last 90 days. A dossier is a snapshot of now, not a database export of last quarter.
No theater
No fake badges, no invented case studies, no "AI magic" claims. When we don't have something — a certification, a feature — we say so on the page.
Not another database.
An intelligence engine
Databases store what was true at the last refresh. Recon researches what's true right now, weighs it by source trust and recency, and verifies it before you see it.
A research terminal
Emails and phone numbers are commodities. Understanding how a CFO thinks, what the account's real pains are, and how to displace the incumbent — that's the scarce thing.
A brain for your prospect
Recon thinks about your prospect the way a senior partner would — pains, politics, timing, angle of attack — then hands your rep the playbook.
We build AI for enterprise.
Recon is our flagship product. We also take on custom AI implementations for enterprise clients — from sales intelligence to agentic systems. If your problem looks like "we have the data, we need the thinking," talk to us.
Hiring soon
We're not hiring yet. When we are, roles will be listed here — engineering, go-to-market, and research.
